What a week....

Somehow... the days are just whizzing by....
and that's coz i've got a packed calender... work & socially...

Workwise... spent the 1st half at meetings trying to tie up my Alsace event.. yes it's around the corner and i have to make sure things go smoothly.. it's a big event for me... something to put on my portfolio...

So far.. i've got Burgundy 1000 Years of Heritage - a trade seminar & trade tasting.. then i've got Aperitif a la Francaise - Inaugural event of French cocktail & entertainment (Was a success too!) and next up is my Alsace Meets Asia Culinary Challenge... on top of the monthly promos at my wine shops, supermarkets etc etc and ad-hoc events.... soo... work calender is nicely filled..

On the social front.. been catching up with my girlies... bev, sam, alisa, pannida, julie etc etc... last sat we were boogie-ing down at Butter Factory and MOS... though the cage in Smoove (R&B section) was too much for me to squeeze in.. how to enjoy?? i marvel at Sam & Julie's determination to get into the cage and find a spot to boogie...

Then the rest of the week after that was mostly lunches with Bev & Sam... and before you knew it.. Friday came along... and guess what we did?? We went down to Actors and sang our guts out..yup... truly stress relief.. but as the 3 of us had Saturday Beach plans.. we kept to a curfew of 1am :) haha....

Yes.. and even with the curfew, i kept them waiting at Mac's harbourfront... surprise surprise.. my brudda Shaun was there promoting membership at Sky Fitness.. aparently the view is to die for :) but i just signed up at Fitness First.. soooo i'll think about it..

Here's what we did Saturday...
9.30am - Met for brekkie at Mac's
10.00am - Walked over to the market to buy lunch & drinks
10.15am - Walked back to take the cable car over (My 1st Time!!!)
10.35am - Arrived at Sentosa
10.35am - 11.45am - Got Lost... yes... so much of construction going on that the usual walking route from the cable car stop at Sentosa to the beach bars were all blocked.. ended up at the Merlion.. then unknowingly went back up again to take 2 buses and a beach train to Tanjong Beach our eventual destination... and we could have taken only 1 bus and made it there earlier...
So after walking around and perspiring we made it... found a nice spot in the shade with a table to chill.
12.15pm - 3.45pm - Played volleyball (or rather jus manage to look glam while attempting to play volleyball) and played cards.. where i lost, had to drink the most peach vodka with sprite and guess who ends up drunk?? The other two gals... hahahaha... prooves that yes i am the alcoholic! hahaha... it's jus in my veins dahlings!
3.45pm - 5.00pm - Made our way back to the cable car tower (much faster this time) and stopped to say hi to Alisa & John (she was bringing him sight seeing) and took the cable car across.....
6.30pm - I got home after dropping them all off... and was about to jus shower and sleep but Bev called me to make sure I didn't coz I had to go to New Asia with them...
