Stay-Cation June 2009

Well... thanks to H1N1, most people are staying home these days opting for hotels here or resorts.... even to journey out to batam or bintan, one is thinking twice about the travelling and the hassles involved.... specially where kids are concerned.

And... also because I started a new job and Warren's got multiple projects lined up, we decided to not go anywhere... and as luck would have it... he had to do a training session over last weekend... and they booked him in a hotel nearby... which was conveniently nearby to my office too.... whaddaya know! hmmmm could be he suggested tha hotel! :D

So anyways, we checked in Thursday or rather he had to check in.. and in the end, we invited his brother & family to join us for the weekend.. seeing as how, they invited us last year for the Malacca trip.

So... we had our Stay-Cation at The Elizabeth Hotel over the weekend... and explored the north part of Singapore, namely near Holland Village, Great World City & the Botanical Gardens!

It was fun.... and nice to have the family together... especially the 3 little munchkin nieces of ours.... that was just Saturday...












Sunday saw us enjoy the morn by the pool and lunch at Arab Street before heading back.... sadly the weekend ended... but it was FUN!!

2009 - Brand New Year

Wow... since Oct 2007 I haven't updated!!! Damn....

Well.. guess I was tied up with work, life etc etc.... hahaha....

And to summarise for 2008... well.. I met the man of my dreams, he proposed, we did the ROM coz we bought a flat, he started a business, I embarked on a dream job.... and we managed to survive our 1st year together....

And it feels like we've been together for ever.... so that's how you know it's right... :D

And into 2009.. well... a bit rough but well... we're survivors.. so I guess that with a huge amount of Faith, Prayers & Luck... things will be turning out good for all of us....

Hubby's business is picking up and finally falling into place and I'm embarking on something new as well :) more to that soon.... once I confirm things....

But I'll try to update as regularly as I can.... Not being narcissistic like other bloggers are.. but just to put my thoughts out there and keep my friends/family overseas updated...... kinda!

Adios and I can't believe we're halfway into February already... damn how time flies!
