Stay-Cation June 2009

Well... thanks to H1N1, most people are staying home these days opting for hotels here or resorts.... even to journey out to batam or bintan, one is thinking twice about the travelling and the hassles involved.... specially where kids are concerned.

And... also because I started a new job and Warren's got multiple projects lined up, we decided to not go anywhere... and as luck would have it... he had to do a training session over last weekend... and they booked him in a hotel nearby... which was conveniently nearby to my office too.... whaddaya know! hmmmm could be he suggested tha hotel! :D

So anyways, we checked in Thursday or rather he had to check in.. and in the end, we invited his brother & family to join us for the weekend.. seeing as how, they invited us last year for the Malacca trip.

So... we had our Stay-Cation at The Elizabeth Hotel over the weekend... and explored the north part of Singapore, namely near Holland Village, Great World City & the Botanical Gardens!

It was fun.... and nice to have the family together... especially the 3 little munchkin nieces of ours.... that was just Saturday...












Sunday saw us enjoy the morn by the pool and lunch at Arab Street before heading back.... sadly the weekend ended... but it was FUN!!

Every week... I update myself on my friends blogs... reading to see what they've been up to... the pics they posted (whether i'm in any of their pics or not) and just basically catch up on their life... and vice versa....

So.. lately, I've been introduced to Imeem where I can put music on my blog (yeah maybe I'm a little behind the times.. hahaha) but now my blog has music which I can change on a weekly basis.... me likey

Then.. browsing thru my friend Jason's blog and I discovered something else.. as you can see.. if u click the links... an image appears.. neat eh?? It's called SNAP.
